Crème Brûlée

Crème Brûlée is a luscious vanilla custard with a
golden caramelized sugar topping
~
It can be piped
or scooped into any size crock or can be used as a filling for tarts, fresh
fruit or cakes
~
~ Serving
Directions ~
~ Thaw pastry
bags or tubs in refrigerator before serving
~ Pipe or scoop
into heat-proof serving dishes or crocks
~Top evenly with
a coat of brown or granulated sugar
~ Put under the
broiler or use a torch to carmelize
~ Our chefs
prefer a deeper crock for maintaining the correct viscosity and thickness after
carmelization
~ With a shallow
crock, in order to maintain the cream’s thickness, refrigerate until chilled
before serving
